What to expect at Terramor

We understand that for many of our you, this will be your first stay at an outdoor resort and may be your first glamping experience. Our friendly staff is here to make sure your trip is as adventurous or relaxing as you want to make, with some added surprises.

Yes! We love dogs and believe there is no better way to explore nature than with your family and friends - including your four legged ones. Your pup will be greeted with a dog park, water bowl and lots of love upon arrival.



All of our tents come fully furnished with linens, towels, lanterns, ceiling fans and more. They all have electricity and WiFi and are stocked with Pendleton blankets, coffee mugs, wine glasses, pour over coffee and so much more.

When Are You Opening? While we originally intended to open in early summer of 2020, we had to change our plans slightly due to the current COVID-19 crisis. Good news is we opened up August 1st, 2020. We are currently watching Maine's travel mandates and following all recommended procedures for social distancing and cleaning to keep both our guests and staff safe.

Do We Have to Quarantine if Coming from Out-of-State? Recently, Governor Mills passed the Keep Maine Healthy Act which allows residents from Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and Vermont to visit the state without the needed 14-day quarantine. This act also allows out-of-state visitors to forego the quarantine if they can provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test. The updated mandate is in effect starting July 1. We are watching all updates closely and will notify any reservations impacted if things change.

Is it Safe? What About Social Distancing? Spending time in the outdoors has been deemed one of the safest activities to do during this epidemic. We are taking extra precautions in our cleaning policies to ensure all tents are properly cleaned and disinfected before and after each stay. Public spaces such as restrooms, tables, pool furniture, etc., will be on a strict cleaning and sanitation schedule and we will practice all recommended social distancing techniques to help prevent the spread. 

In addition, all of our tents are spaced apart from one another to allow for unique private fire experiences and outdoor seating, allowing our guests to socially distance at all times during their stay.

What is Your Cancellation Policy? Cancellations and/or changes to a reservation must be made 7-days prior to your arrival to avoid a 1-night tent charge, plus tax. Group cancellations must be made 30-days prior to the arrival date. Cancellations made after the 30-days are subject to a 1-night tent charge, plus tax, for each reservation within the group block. Please note, we will work with reservations that have to cancel due to the enactment of Federal or State Government travel restrictions/mandates.

Do You Offer Group Discounts? We offer a 10% discount to groups who reserve 8 or more tents. Please contact our front desk to make the reservation.

What is Your Pet Policy? To ensure your dogs safety and our guests, we ask that all dogs remain on leash while on property unless using our designated dog park. Pups are not to be left alone in the tents and are prohibited from the inside of the Lodge and Pool area. Upon check-in we'll issue a dog tag for your furry friend which will identify which tent they belong to in-case they decide to go out and adventure on their own. We do charge a non-refundable $50 pet fee per tent and limit each tent to two dogs at a time. We also reserve the right to remove any animal that is being disruptive or dangerous.

When is Check-In and Check-Out? Our check in time is 4:00 p.m. and our check-out time is 11:00 a.m.  If you would like to check-in earlier or leave later, we will try to accommodate your request. Please call us at (207) 288-7500 to request.

Are Meals Included? Terramor offers complimentary coffee and tea each morning along with some grab-and-go items. Our restaurant and bar will be open for happy hour and dinner service. These meals are not included in the stay and are an additional charge. 

Do You Have a Wheel Chair Accessible Tent? Yes. Our Accessible tent is B01. If you need assistance in booking this tent, please feel free to call our front desk (207)288-7599

Is the Resort Open to the Public? To best serve our natural surroundings and staying guests, our resort is not open to the public. This allows us to preserve our environment and establish a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. We will allow a reasonable number of visitors to join our guests at the restaurant, we just request these guests check-in at the front and do not exceed two individuals per staying host.

Is Terramor Family Friendly? Absolutely! We encourage parents to foster the wonder of nature within their kids. We have a selection of amenities and services that everyone can enjoy such as corn hole, bocce ball, pop-up events and more. We do not have a structured playground or scheduled kids activities, however we invite children to participate in the many events onsite with the supervision of their parents.

If traveling with a baby, we have portable cribs available upon request.

Can I Park Next to My Tent? Parking is available around the main entrance. To keep our natural and serene setting we've kept vehicles away from the main tents and public spaces. This helps keep both noise and light pollution from disrupting our ambiance. Terramor does have wagons and golf carts to asset our guests to their tents.

Is There WiFi? WiFi is accessible throughout the property. You will be provided a WiFi code upon check-in. There is no television or telephones in our tents.

Do the Tents Have Refrigerators? Each tent comes with a portable cooler. Ice is available in the Lodge store. If you are in need of an electric cooler for medical and personal use, please let us know and we will have one ready for you.

Can I Lock-Up the Tent? We do not recommend leaving valuables inside the tents when you are away. We have complimentary safety deposit boxes at the front desk for guests who need to store valuables. 

Is There a Heater or Air Conditioner Inside the Tent? Our tents do not have heating or cooling, however each does come with a ceiling fan and plenty of blankets, including two Pendleton blankets within each tent. We recommend you pack for Maine's weather and bring layers.

Do I Need to Bring Firewood? No. One complimentary bundle of wood will be provided upon arrival. The store in the Lodge does sell additional wood if needed.
